Very tasty food, great service. The best green Chile cheeseburger and Greek feast. Good efficient service and consistency. Eldorado is lucky to have them here.
Perfect sandwiches to go. I like to get them and go to the brewery across the way. The green chile cheese burger is one of the best in town.
Excellent food, except for one thing. I really wish the owners would use environmentally friendly containers like cardboard. All their food is served in clear plastic containers, I did try to request a real plate since I was not getting "takeout" but they do not have any. The food is absolutely wonderful and you should definitely try it, I am leaving this review in hopes it will reach the owner since I don't see any other way to give feedback. I have mentioned it twice to the serving staff, but they don't seem to think it important, and I do not see a suggestion box or anything.
Gyros were excellent. Burgers are large and juicy. Fries great! Limited outside seating around mall courtyard. Service was excellent.
Carmelita's makes the best bacon cheeseburger in the area, and I will fight about it. The burger is perfect in every way for me... the bun is strong enough to contain the burger while tasting amazing, the veggies are fresh, and the patty is obviously high quality. Be sure to get their scalloped green chile potatoes too! It's a new special not on the online menu yet. Please keep it on the menu!
This is such a little gem in Eldorado, with great service and outside patio seating. It features scrumptious, old-fashioned cheeseburgers with optional green chile, sautéed onions or mushrooms, the most amazing crunchy French fries, Greek Feast salad w choice of protein, tuna melt, Cubano, daily specials and more. Very reasonably priced. Our weekly go-to!
The lamb gyro is soooo good! Lots of meat and good amount of salad items in sandwich. I feel fortunate to live nearby. Please keep the lamb gyro on the menu firever!

We are gratefully very spoiled right now by the delightful Mediterranean cuisine at Carmelita's. I have many favorites to rave about & recommend. My top favorite offering is the kale salad, featuring kale, mixed greens, roasted red peppers, beets, cranberry raisins, and more, with a lovely dressing. This topped with roast chicken, is one of the better salads I've enjoyed anywhere! I also love their gyros, featuring lamb, or the yummy roast chicken. Grab a few extra napkins for this one. Delish! They make a tuna melt on grilled panini bread, which is a very substantial meal in itself. I have enjoyed the burgers, and the Specials, including green chile potatoes au gratin. They serve up to-go French fries in both regular and crispy. I adore the giant serving of the regular fries. Fun to share. Rebecca the proprietor is masterful at running the small, lovely little restaurant. She's like the conductor of a small orchestra that blends and cooks yummy dishes that satisfy the taste buds, tummy, and soul. They bring a generous spirit to dishing up real and sumptuous cuisine. They bake delicious sweet treats too, from baklava, to iced lemon cake, to brownies! It's food designed, cooked, and served with heart. I feel good about supporting such kind, dear, professional local people! They even have gift cards, which make an awesome surprise for locals! Honestly, throughout these unstable crazy times and circumstances of the 2020's this little take out spot, has been a precious gem. Some of the dishes taste better than a big, fine dining restaurant! Eldorado dining offerings have been insanely unstable this recent 3 + years! Carmelita's is here for the locals, in the outskirts of Santa Fe, and Eldorado. I love that people drive out here from town, for this healthy, yummy, fare! Treat yourself and someone you love soon. You will be grateful. Also the portions are generous, indeed! Some days I've made a whole lunch out of those divine French fries! I've gotta say, I feel dearly mothered by the Spirit of Mediterranean food, Rebecca, and her winning team. A cute little shop in the heart of El Dorado's community. I have been craving Mediterranean so was excited to be introduced to this place. The food was fresh and tasty! The lamb was very tender. Great little shop to try out!
